This is batch 0001 of Duncan Taylor’s Dimensions release of Dailuaine, distilled in 1998 and aged for 14 years before bottling in August 2012. Lovely stuff.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Apple peel and a little orange zest. Marmalade, gingerbread and marzipan. Peppery and spicy.
Palate: Cinnamon, malty. Rum-like palate, with notes of lavender and black pepper. Very interesting indeed.
Finish: Almond-led finish. Creamy and nutty.
